When we discuss predictive modeling in higher education, the conversation rarely includes Community Colleges. We always hear about how high school GPA, or SAT scores relate to our enrollment yields and retention rates, but these metrics are not generally available to community college IR offices.

In this video we talk about the differences between 4 year and 2 year institutions. This includes a discussion of the information that community colleges do have that can be leveraged to better understand what is driving retention rates and ways in which you can act upon that information.

Additionally, we discuss ways to present this information and the importance of refining and automating that process so that you are engaging the whole institution with reliable, transparent reporting.
