Rapid Insight QuickStart in Action at Western Carolina University

Back in early 2014, Rapid Insight released the first QuickStart templates for Veera Construct, which make it even easier for people to develop predictive models without needing to navigate all of the tables within their information system. The first set was developed for the Banner Student Information System.

One of the institutions that began to utilize QuickStart was Western Carolina University. We recently caught up with WCU Operations Research Analyst Johnny Lail, to learn more about how they are using the templates and to see what their results have been. As part of the interview, we also learned how they incorporated Summer Bridge students into their predictive models.
